Closer Lives Poetry Collective
Welcome to the Closer Lives Poetry Collective, a creative space for poets, writers, and dreamers to share words that move us.
This group celebrates poetry that explores love, travel, connection, and alternative living. The same spirit that sparked our own story.
Share your work, join discussions, and connect with others who see the world through rhythm, reflection, and emotion. Whether you write daily or simply love to read poetry, you belong here.
Poetry is coming home.
After a long pause, we’ve started publishing poetry again on Closer Lives. Not rushed. Not filtered. Just honest words, shared when they’re ready.
I have just published a new poem, Carving a Canyon, written shortly after we met, a piece about how love can arrive quietly and still change everything.
Going forward, both Jenn and I will be sharing poetry on the site. Old pieces, new work, reflections, and creative writing that’s grown alongside our lives.
This space exists for that kind of writing.
If you’re a poet, writer, or creative who values truth over polish, you’re welcome here. We’re also open to guest poetry submissions, and we’d love this group to become a place to share work, thoughts, and conversations around the craft.
No pressure. No algorithms. Just poetry, when it’s ready.
